We have been invited to hold a number of workshops in the past couple of months and want to share some pictures with you!

LOVE Roundhay talk and baking workshop at Roundhay School

For LOVE Roundhay week we were asked by Roundhay School teacher Tom Clements, to talk about our experiences of starting a business. After the “dull part” the students got their hands dirty and they were inspired to create some great jammie biscuits. We created some LOVE Roundhay themed biscuits!

Biscuit decorating for Dadstastic Day

On Father’s Day, Leeds Dads organised another fantastic free event for kids and their families. This year’s event took place at the City Museum in Leeds. Leeds Dads organiser Errol asked us to be part of it with a biscuit decorating station. We prepared gingerbread men (and women), hearts and flowers and bought lots of (naturally) coloured icing, chocolate sprinkles, hundreds and thousands and even Father’s Day themed cake toppers! It was a fun filled day and the kids and us loved every minute of it!

Baking with toddlers and preschoolers at Mulberry Bush Nursery As part of their “Meet the professional”, this North Leeds nursery asked us to come and do a little baking session with the little ones. It might not have been as exciting as meeting the firefighters and exploring their fire engine, but the toddlers and preschoolers loved getting messy and cutting out the different shapes (and of course snacking on the biscuits later on!).

Baking for Fabrication2 workshop launch

Back in April Fabrication Crafts opened their amazing workshop space in the heart of Leeds. Together with many of the other makers and artists we ran a workshop for the launch. Anyone who came to the opening could request a biscuit with their name on (or get stuck in and make them themselves).

Interested in booking us for your event? Then get in touch today, we look forward to hearing from you!

Have a lovely week,

Lisa & Saskia

We create beautiful bespoke biscuits for any occasion and a whole range of everyday biscuit that can be ordered online.
