Will your biscuits not break in the post?
We ship 99% of our biscuits, and have worked out ways to prepare them well for even a slightly bumpy ride. Our branded biscuits are packed between layers of biodegradable bubble wrap. Biscuits posted in our letterbox-friendly boxes sit between 2 sheets of 5-ply, which cushions them nicely, and glued down with icing to avoid them bumping into each other.
Where can you post your biscuits to?
We ship our biscuits world-wide. Some countries are stricter than others when it comes to customs, we ask our customers to enquire before placing an order with us as this is outside of our control.
Do you have minimum order volumes?
We do for some products, for example bespoke hand-iced biscuits, where we ask for a minimum order value of £100. And at Christmas time when we hit peak volumes, we will introduce a MOV for that specific period. We don’t however for our core products: logo biscuits, embossed jam or fondant biscuits. How long will the biscuits last?
Our individually wrapped biscuits have a shelf-life of 10 weeks+. Any biscuits shipped in our biscuit boxes are not sealed to avoid plastic waste. They should be eaten within 2 weeks of receipt. For the best eating experience, we recommend putting them in an airtight container in a dark, cool and dry place. This will keep them fresh for 6 weeks+.
Do you cater for special dietary requirements?
Our signature biscuit recipe contains wheat (gluten), milk and egg. While this recipe does not ask for any nuts, we do handle nuts on site. We offer gluten-free or vegan biscuits for a surcharge of 25p per unit. This is to pay for the higher ingredients cost and additional work to create the dough and keep everything separate to avoid cross-contamination. Our facility is not set-up in a way that enables us to guarantee the absence of trace amounts of any allergens, which is why we only cater to people with mild food intolerances, not those with allergies. All our biscuits are vegetarian, most are halal (only those with gold lustre contain ethanol/alcohol).
Is your packaging eco-friendly?
Yes it is! Our Kraft boxes and sleeves are 100% recyclable, the sleeves are made from recycled materials. Our biscuit bags are made from Natureflex, a compostable material derived from cornstarch. Our bubble wrap is biodegradable. We reuse cardboard boxes and fillers.
Do you offer samples?
We do! We have come to realise that people appreciate things more when they pay for them, so we no longer offer free samples. We do however offer taste samples from as little as £10 (postage included). Plus with all our samples, we have a 100% reimburse policy: if you end up placing an order with us, we will refund the cost for the sample.
Do you offer discounts?
We offer a 20% discount for NHS staff. We also offer a staggered bulk discount on larger orders (200 units and more). We recommend signing up to our newsletter so you don’t miss out on any shop discounts!
