What is it like to work at Bloom Bakers? We can only speak for ourselves, so we thought we’d add some more voices to the mix. Namely, those of our wonderful team!
Tell us about you and what you like most about what you do!
I’m a mum of two feisty fun loving young humans and a very bouncy dog. I love to be creative and am a crazy organiser. I love that this job offers me the opportunity to experience many different aspects of the business and that every day is different! Seeing Bloom grow so much so quickly is incredibly inspiring and it’s very exciting to be a part of.
Why do you believe in the company's products/services?
Everything is made by hand from start to finish. Everyone here loves what they do and you can always see that in the finished product.
What gets you most excited about coming to work?
Loving what I do and the challenges it offers. The environment and the team I work with always make it so easy and enjoyable to be here too – we’re all like a little family! It’s a team full of fabulous strong and inspiring women who I can connect with every day. I love working alongside everyone, we all support each other and boost each other.
Why does it matter to you to work somewhere that provides purpose and meaning?
I want to feel fulfilled in my work and knowing that with each little box we send out, it puts a smile on someone’s face. I always feel proud to say I work here!
What were your first thoughts when you heard about this company?
What a lovely company it must be to be a part of and that very few companies can offer the flexibility and support that Bloom can, its almost unheard of and absolutely priceless to me personally. Also – I want to eat all the biscuits 🙂
How did you first get involved with the business?
I met Lisa at school as our children are in the same class, I was looking for an opportunity and Bloom Bakers turned out to be just that after an honest conversation in the pick-up queue. Right time right place!
Do you still like the biscuits? Which one is your favourite and why?
Love them all! Especially the Lebkuchen at Christmas, never tasted anything quite like them before – delicious!
Is there anything else that you would like to mention?
I am very excited about the future of Bloom Bakers – particularly the re-brand that is coming very soon!
